This sweet bride is the epitome of classic elegance. We have no doubt her wedding is going to be exactly that – classic and elegant. She wanted to incorporate a “nautical” theme – without being over the top or overdone. The save the dates were printed on 110# crane’s letra pearlwhite stock – 2 color offset printing (navy and blush). The design was very clean – with only the darling nautical “rope” element at the bottom and sweet anchor with their initials at top to nod to the nautical theme.  One of our favorite parts of these announcements are the envelope liners. Striped liners are fairly typical (and oh so elegant) – but Jenn wanted to do something just a little different. We designed one ultra thick navy stripe on the diagonal for her envelope liners – and the end result was perfection!

We were so honored to have the sweet Stephanie Uchima (of Preppy Chic Events) choose us to do her wedding paperie.
Not only is she an amazing event planner, she has beautiful taste, and is styling her own wedding in a simple, preppy and gorgeous way.
The color palette she has chosen is navy and white (a nod to the nautical/beachy “feel”) with pops of blush, coral and gold. We designed a little “logo” (arrows with their initials) for all of her paper goods, and used it on the save the dates as the branding for the wedding. She and her fiance took adorable engagement photos in Maui (location for the wedding) – and we used one of them for the save the date. The cute wording “We’re getting hitched” and fun photo was the perfect way to announce the destination wedding.
We printed the photo on the front and added the cute text, and then printed the details on the reverse. Added a gorgeous gold envelope (complete with striped liner) and this completed the beautiful announcements. We are so excited for Stephanie – and cannot wait to finish the rest of her beautiful wedding paper!

style unveiled shoot

we are up on style unveiled!!
we partnered with gloria mc cune of grand engagements for this luxe photo shoot. she supplied us with the color palette and an
inspiration board – and we just love how everything turned out! the feeling of the shoot was elegant, but contemporary, so we chose to print on a smooth white stock, and mount to the deepest black (smooth) stock. we also lined the envelopes with the same smooth black, for a very chic and sleek look. the pop of color (deep eggplant) was evident in the pattern we created (to match the inspiration gloria sent over). we loved working on this shoot + really love how everything came together so beautifully.

For Elizabeth’s daughter’s 6th birthday…Hailey really wanted a Hello Kitty party. She is obsessed with all things Hello Kitty, so we just had to do it. Even though we usually like to do a more “unique” theme – Hailey had been dreaming of this party for the last few years!

We did a color palette of neon pink (and shades of pink), black and white. The invitation was fairly simple – but fun – a custom die cut shape of Hello Kitty’s face, mailed in a black envelope with her “bow” repeated as an envelope liner. All the girls loved receiving the actual Hello Kitty “face” – and used it as decoration on their school folders!

Hailey’s favorite thing in the world is popcorn. So, naturally, we decided to do a fun twist on a dessert bar – and we did a popcorn bar instead. We made a “hello hailey” banner to hang behind the bar, did fun signage, and labels for the flavors to sprinkle on the popcorn! We also got darling black and white striped mini popcorn buckets, I lined them with hot pink tissue, and added a bow on the front. We got 2 popcorn flavors as the “base”, 5 actual flavors to sprinkle on the popcorn, and then a few fun toppings. The popcorn bar was a big hit!

For sweets, we had a “make your own cookie” station – Hello Kitty faces, of course! We also commissioned Sweet and Saucy Shop to make the amazing and very tasty Hello Kitty cake pops (vanilla, strawberry and chocolate peanut butter).

Drinks were served in mini plastic “milk” bottles – complete with a polka dotted straw with Hello Kitty bow on top.

For games, we did Hello Kitty bingo, a fun scavenger hunt (spell out the word H E L L O, find the corresponding bucket with the prize + add it to your personalized pail), and a mini version of a “photo booth” (hanging frame with a few fun props).

The big hit of the party was the huge Hello Kitty jump house – that really looked like Hello Kitty’s house. The kids went nuts for this!

All in all, it was a darling party – and I think we pulled off the theme pretty well. 🙂 Happy Birthday to sweet Hailey Grace!

FRANKIE IS TWO.. featured on HWTM

featured on hostess with the mostess!! full feature HERE

Frankie is TWO! I can’t believe my *baby* is two already.. but as life keeps whizzing by.. why not celebrate in the midst of it?!

A little back history.. Both of our grandpa’s are FRANK. Brian’s grandpa and my grandpa.. so clearly.. when we found out we were having a boy.. it was a no brainer. His name would be frankie… We just had to have our party theme celebrate who he is as a little boy.. and all his favorite things.. I just wanted him to see all his favorites all at the same time. His favorite people.. his favorite foods.. and his favorite treats!

frankie’s favorite treats are DONUTS!! like mama like son! ha!!! the treat bags were full of his favorite things.. balls, fruit snacks, and cars!
I made the pinata out of colored tissue paper and cardboard.. it was definitely a labor of love.. but worth ever minute when i saw him get so excited to see it!!
for the invitation.. we just kept it simple.. Frankie’s face was the “brand” of the party.. even having frankie face tattoos!!

melody of sweet and saucy took the invite and made the cutest cake i have ever seen!! #obsessed the flavor was candy bar .. also delish!!

the wonderful jackie wonders took all these gorgeous images too!

as my little one gets bigger.. i just find myself cherishing EVERY MOMENT..
as a mother.. this is what i wish for my son. that he would feel LOVED and ACCEPTED.. that he would know that I think the absolute world of him.. I also pray that he will come to love JESUS and see the true meaning of life.. I just can’t get enough of when he asks us to pray.. it is the sweetess thing in life.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRANKIE.. you are truly loved.
